Review summary

I learned from this cruise that you get what you pay for. This cruise is great for a low key get away. Our cruise was cut short by 2 days and I learned that a 3 day cruise is not worth the bother. By the time you unpack and get acclimated, its time to leave. Royal Caribbean reimbursed for the 2 days missed ( which they did not have to do) and gave a voucher as well for a discount on another Royal Caribbean Cruise . I knew that I was booking in the hurricane season and the cruise was priced accordingly. I would book a cheap hurricane season cruise like this again but never do 3 days again. Ill opt to buy the travel insurance next time as well.

Embarkation

Very few getting o the ship due to recent hurricane scare.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food varied in the Windjammer. Started off terrible ( could be that the ship was at sea for 2 days longer than expected) but got a little better on 2nd and 3rd day. Lots of what appeared to be frozen and processed food but still had a few fresh choices.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
as in there were NO activities that I could find.

Entertainment

I didnt see any

Children's Programs

no kids with me

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Average...The ship seemed to have few passengers and the staff was most likely tired from having to take care of previous sailing which had to add 2 extra days to their cruise to keep the ship safely away from Hurricane Dorian. All were friendly but seemed tired.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
This ship is OLD..it reminded me of former super model Janice Dickenson..was prime in its day, has had a lot of cosmetic work done on its self, is STILL old though. It it however ( like Janice) still beautiful at night in the proper lighting.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
older but comfortable enough...this was an inexpensive cruise. I was not expecting much more than what I received. Adequate but not luxurious.

Ship tip

Do not expect much more than what this cruise is...a party barge that cruises with beautiful waters around it.

Ports of call
