Review summary

I would probably not cruise again on this specific boat. I am open to trying Royal Caribbean again.. but not in the near future. It will probably be a latter choice. You really do get for what you pay for. I would go with another option before I go with this ship again..

Embarkation

No complaints during our embarking process. Line moved swiftly. Process was very direct.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
I didn't have much expectations with the dining on the ship but the variety and option they provided were very limited. The food itself was not that good and barely on par. I at least had expected the main dining room to have better quality than the buffet, but it honestly fell short. While the service was good, the food lacked flavor. Nothing was spectacular and there were a few dishes that just weren't that good.. even the dessert lacked. Was completely disappointed with the food options that were on the boat.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
There as not many activities on the boat.. I've been on other cruises and this ship in particular lacked a lot of amenities. There was only one tiny little pool and then one tiny little area for kids which was next to each other. So there wasn't any separation from a kiddie area to the adult area. Everyone was together and it was a bit lack luster.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Shows on the boat were decent.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
The service and staff on the boat were exceptionally nice and accommodating. They go out of their way to try and make sure you have what you need and get what you need.

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
The staterooms and the restrooms were not that clean.. sheets were dirty. Our sheets had stains and our cleaner kept putting them back on our bed when we took them off. Dinings room were okay. Staterooms, were not clean.. carpet everywhere was old and dirty. Ship needs an update.

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
Size was okay, it was that clean. Our bedsheets were stained and dirty and our cleaner kept putting them back onto the bed when we took them off. Didn't look like it was cleaned or washed at all. The carpet was dirty and needs an update.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida Did not visit port

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

3 out of 5
Cococay was a beautiful island. Wish there was a map to show there was more things to do other than the front entrance.

Nassau, Bahamas

2 out of 5
Nassau was nice but excursions were expensive. Chose to do the snorkeling, however it was very pricey with what we were allowed to do. It was a 3 hour excursion, however 2 hours were spent on the boat to go from point A to point B.

I only booked inside cabins when we went to Alaska (a must do). I didn't want to spend the extra money for something I wouldn't really use. We pretty much just do balconies now but you have to do what you can do.

I have friends(hubby and wife duo)who sailed on Majesty a couple of months ago. It was their first cruise and didn't do research ahead. They said they wouldn't do it again. They booked an inside cabin (warned them in advance about that) since RC cabins are tight. They hated it(him more than her); felt claustrophobic. They didn't know how the food worked; since Majesty is older they don't have that nice I guess you call it promenade that the newer larger ships has with other options instead of just pizza. He's a work out monster (body builder) so that was difficult for him. They wouldn't do it again.

Can you explain a little more? Not questioning your opinion, that's yours, just curious if the same things matter to me. Thanks.
