Review summary

I will not go on another cruise even if the pay for it. It was very disappointing. Not enough entertainment.By 10::00 or 11:00pm there was no music or shows. Boing.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
We got on the ship at 5:00pm. I had to make arrangements for lunch because they changed embarkation time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
My waiter Catherine and assistant waiter Santosh made our experience incredible. The food and service was excellent.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The pool was too small for the Amount of people on board.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
There wasn't a greAt selection of activities or performances. Quite boring.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Stateroom attendant Edison Bacalla was very attentive and made sure to keep clean towels in our room. Bathroom was imaculate. Waiter Catherine caring and warm. Excellent service. Assistant waiter Santosh provided excellent service.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
It was clean but a little weathered.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was clean but a little uncomfortable to move around. I'm 89 years old so I can't move around if I'm bumping into things.

Ship tip

If you have sailed IN bigger ships this would be a downgrade ...

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

4 out of 5

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

5 out of 5
We disembarked at 1:00pm and got back on the ship at 4:00pm. Not enough time to enjoy the beach if the ship is late. The food was cold. Had to eat bots that were being grilled at the moment. I would not recommend Cococay to anyone.

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
Yes did the Essential Nassau, tour guide a little rude. I should have booked the atlantis aqua adventure and enjoy the pool.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Was scheduled for 8:30am and got out at 10:00am.

There was one place that had karaoke 11 ish but we went to bed around that time so maybe they do have one open?

I called and was told there was a night club open till 5:00 am. Is this false information I was given? I have kids that are 21 and 24 going with us and they like to party.

This ship will be "Retired" in a couple years. But you know what it's the oldest Royal Caribbean cruise ship.

We felt the opposite. We saw a comedian. There was a piano bar in the Schooner Bar. There was music at the pool each night. There was a band in Boleros. There was the 70's/80's night on Friday night. We had a great time!!

Even the Geriatric Cruise Line clubs are open past 11:00.

Yes they had one show on our cruise day in between the two bingo sessions.

No cruise history either

Our first show was pretty good. The kids loved it. Scotty Cavanaugh. He is a two time gold medal juggler. And he added some comedy in there. The other shows were comedians that we didn't even bother with as we had 3 kids and they weren't really into comedians. And even though they didn't say adults only, we weren't certain of the content.

this is one of the smallest ship and oldest. you should try a bigger ship like a Radiance class or Voyager class. or go big with Oasis class or Quantum class their newest ships

kimlpn08    7 years ago

what shows are they?

daisysock    7 years ago

I agree. There is only ONE show to choose from each evening but just at two different times.
