Review summary

it seems like all you guys cared about was selling drinks, you guys push for like crazy, that was very annoying!!!! I understand thats how you guys make you money but you cant push for it so hard and say it on the PA system.

Casino staff are horrible!!! they dont smile they are rude, the ship windows were dirty I see rust everywhere. Ive been on carnival few times and I enjoyed their cruise way more than this one, staff dont smile some of them were great, the guy who cleaned our room was nice, dinning room for the dinner was excellent, food was not too impressive. food in the buffet was excellent as well.

Bottom line will not cruise with you guys again

Do u remember the price of any of the drinks? I keep getrin these dramatic price ranges for the same item when I ask. Water, beer, soda, mixed drink, anything?

Go on the Freedom of the seas and I bet you change your mind. We're up there on Carnival and our first cruise on royal was the Monarch , my hubbie said never again, lol, not that it was a horrible cruise, just old ship and smaller than what we were used to, then last year we got a great deal on the Freedom and it took some serious begging and alot of promises to wash his beast of a truck, but he gave and it blew him away! Going on majesty next week and we know it won't compare but this was a cheap little resting cruise before we sail in November on.... BIG ONE BABY!!!!!! Oasis here we come!!! Woo hoo!

Yeah, and it also includes bottled water, which I like. Plus, if you have a mimosa at breakfast, a few drinks by the pool, a drink or 2 at dinner, and a drink at a show, it adds up.

Very true. But u are right if drinks are that much it is worth the package. So about 3 drinks and u are up to package price

Drink of the day is usually about 8, cocktails usually up to 12, plus there's 15% gratuity added to each purchase.

Any idea on how much drinks are on average without a package?

Dadyjason people try but if you get caught they will cancel your package with no refund. If you won't drink that much don't buy it.

Will be my first cruise in a week. I see the beverage packages are per person. I don't think me and my wife would drink that much in a day. Has anyone got 1 package but used it for both people ?

I'm sorry, actually I think Empress is the oldest, Majesty is second oldest.
