Review summary
This is my fourth royal trip I think.
My first mistake was allowing YOU to pick my room with a view, as I received a room with a view of the water, at water level.
The room was dirty, I was, as well as my wife were bitten by some kind of bug, this was brought to the attention of staff, (room attendant and supervisor) could not even get it vacuumed there was only two towels there was a refrigerator and a sharps container left in the middle of the floor for most of the first day and the mattress on the bed was like sleeping on the floor absolutely the worst bed I have ever had on your ship or any other company for that matter.
I was constantly told sorry sorry about the pillows sorry about the bed sorry about the bugs sorry about the towels sorry about the time delay to get the room cleaned out to get the room serviced it was nothing but sorry with a little action.
Next, poor activities on board, one show on the last night, no dj or music on departure, like I've come to expect from royal Caribbean.
I was told the laundry was broken, sorry.
I found out that coco key was under construction so we never went, some people went and came right back to the ship, could not get a drink till 1:30 on the island.
As for drinks, at 12$ each, I would have room attendants waiting on people selling drinks all day, BUT not a waiter to be found, so too hard to get a drink poolside.
I was told that majesty is a training ship and that it was understaffed currently again not told to me before I booked the trip or even after I booked the trip therefore I feel like I was short changed I didn't really get the experience I was expecting or paid for very very disappointed.
I booked through Delta, and that should not have mattered, but for some reason, at least with the room, I was shoved in a storage room, (oh that also had problems with the toilet not flushing, not filling with water, and I was told it was from paper? NO it is from no water in the bowl, so to avoid the maintenance man from having to clear it, I had to add a few glasses of water to it every time it was flushed.
SO How Was My Trip?
You tell me.
The best part was the wait staff for dinner, food was ok, but kinda limited compared to past trips and to my most recent trip on carnival, ( I am referring to choices in the windjammer not dining room)
And a addional 6.95 to get a burger?? Carnival has guy Ferrara burgers on deck by the pool that are fantastic!

Ship tip
There was very little going on, the pool deck was a ghost town most of the time, where most ships have music, waiters serving drinks etc. there was no waiter to be found. Only on the last day was there signs of help. The ship is run down, according to staff going into dry dock in 2 years, well it
Ports of call
Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)
