Review summary

The improvement would be stay on the islands a little bit longer then spending a whole day on sea. Bartender Lukman was the best, and dinner Lourdes and Amelia. Need to spend more time on the islands.

Yes I know, but the line pays for it

You didn't prove anything wrong. My "theory" is fact. Just because you don't agree with it doesn't change that. And each ship doesn't pay its own port charges.

Lol, just proved your theory wrong. No need to use profanity/names.

You're just a douche.

So, I am going on one of RC's smallest ships this weekend. We will be docked in Nassau for 12 hours. I have been to Nassau more than 8 times and have never stayed 12 hours ever. I eas there on larger ships. I wonder how the smallest ship in the fleet can afford to dock for 12 hours? They must be paying a ransom.

I get the point that no one is giving anyone anything for free. It's stupid to think they should be able to dock free of charge just because they bring tourists.

I'm not sure about foreign ports but the Longshoreman union controls US ports. I realize and get the concept but without cruise ships some of these ports/countries would fold up and go under. Being charged to bring customers still seems unfair. You get the point?

Well, all the port workers need to be paid, the people that take trash off and bring supplies on and so on. In the same respect, amusement parks have food, games, drinks and souvenirs they sell in the park and still charge admission. Movie theaters, concerts. You get the point.

Wow, I didn't realize they have to pay to bring tourism and money to any particular port. Being charged for bringing 'customers' doesn't seem fair.

People don't realize that the ships have to pay to dock, and it's not cheap. A lot of times, how long they stay is not up to the cruise line.
