Review summary
Our cruise was wonderful. Our first time using . They did a great job and we would not hesitate to use them again.. On the ship, the muster drill was pleasant (we were in one of the lounges for ours) and done very well. Maybe a half hour. They even made it fun. The drink prices on the ship were great. the sail away parties by the pool were great. Lot's of staff to get you rocking!Got excited every day to see what was on the buffet. We never made it to the scheduled dinner because it was so easy not to change our clothes and eat when we wanted. Never had to wait in a line to eat because their set up is genius! There was a station for Italian, Asian (with sushi), Mexican, Mediterranean and a great salad and fresh fruit bar. They would switch it up using different cultures and of course an American station. Pork chops, rib steak carving station, don't even get me started on the desserts! The wait staff was always there if you needed anything at all. In the shopping areas they had several sale events. All items at one of them were $10.00 each. For one hour. Everyone was pleasant about it. . I bought a beautiful necklace and earrings for $10 each along with other items. I told my husband that I want to be a professional cruiser from now on. LOL Our room was always made up when we returned and the bed was comfy. There was one negative though and that was the excursion "Encounter with the dolphins" this was booked with ahead of time. Once on our special island we were ferried to, We had a two hour wait. There was a nice beach with chairs, a pool (cold ocean water) and a outside bar. My husband ordered a bahamama and a coke for me. The bill was $28.00 OMG. We were finally sent to the place to get our life jackets, there was a big sign that said "purchase the complete package of pictures today" for $69.95 I thought this was a suggestion. We were not allowed to bring our cameras past the life jacket station. Afterward you can view your pics on computers that were set up at the life jacket place. The photographer was very professional so the pics were excellent quality. Then we found out that we could not purchase them individually. It was all or none. All they did was download them on a disk right there and hand them to you. People from the Carnival ship had their disk ready for them when they reboarded. . Probably the only time in my life I will have this wonderful experience and no picture to prove it and to have the memory framed. I was so pissed and sad. Really sad. This excursion was not cheap. We were not going to shell out $70.00 for 12 pictures of my husband and I posing with a dolphin. One would have been fine and we would pay for it. Not to mention. While we were in the photo stage in the water with our group, it started to rain. My husband and I were the last ones left to pose but it was raining so hard they stopped. We had to go back to the life jacket place and wait an hour for it to clear up. Then us two and the photographer and trainer went out in the water and had the pics taken. There wasn't anybody left but us in the photo area by then. Our group had taken the boat back already. Maybe he could of cut us some slack or maybe he didn't have that authority. Don't know but still pissed. Had a great cruise though!!!!!!! Majesty of the Sea Rocks! Love that ship! And thank you

Ship tip
For us, the bigger ships are a little overwhelming because you can't do everything there is to do and still rest, rest, rest. This ship was the very first one of 7 cruises we have been on and we still love it. To each his own..
