Awesome cruise

Sail Date: September 12, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Oceanview

Although this ship is older, you would never know that as everything is beautiful from top to bottom. The layout is easy to navigate and the staff and crew are top notch. The Captain said a person once told him that The Majesty of the Seas may not be a mega ship but it has heart and I couldn't agree more.

Pros: Everything was great, food, service, ports, weather

Cons: Absolutely nothing!

Recommends Majesty of the Seas? Yes!

Food and Dining
Food was outstanding
Cabin / Stateroom
Although the rooms are slightly on the small side, it doesn't matter as layout maximizes space. No complaints at all.
Ship Quality
Ship is spotless and very well laid out
Service and Staff
Our dining room waiters, Oren and Igor were the best wait staff we have ever had on a cruise. My friend and I were seated at a table for 6 but the other 4 people never came to the dining room so were were all alone at this big table. Oren and Igor made us feel so special and could not have been more kinder or attentive! Also, our stateroom attendant Jeffrey was great as well. He made sure we had ice every night and extra towels everyday.
Entertainment
Nassau, Bahamas
The beautiful beaches are a must see
Don't Miss: Don't miss the dolphin encounter on Dolphin Island. It was so special and the thrill of a lifetime.
Key West, Florida
Key West is fun and a great port, love it every time we visit!
Don't Miss: Don,t miss Fort Zachary Taylor if you like the beach and don't miss walking around the side streets and stopping in a neighborhood bar for a cool drink.
Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
Everything about Cococay is awesome!!!
Don't Miss: Don't miss renting a floating mat and relaxing on the turquoise waters as the gentle motion of the sea relaxes you.
