Review summary

Ship was clean, service received was excellent. Wish the lounges were non-smoking. Didn't use any of them or the casino because the smoke was so bad. Wish the whole ship was non-smoking.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Any time dining is a great option. Overall food quality was just okay. Breakfast not so good, just okay. Some of the dinners were excellent, others just okay. Expect good food, but not gourmet. More like smorgesboard food. Variety was good. Service during dinner was excellent. Friendly and fun servers.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
For the most part the staff was excellent. Some had trouble communicating in English. Didn't understand requests. However, those that do understand English go above and beyond to accommodate guest wishes.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Decor was nice, not cheesy or cheap looking. Very good condition, clean and easy to get around. Did not like all the cigarrette smoke in public areas though. Travelers did not adhere to smokers staying on starboard side and ship staff did not enforce.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Stateroom was small but efficient. Amenities were fine. Condition and cleanliness were great. Loved the linens but mattress was uncomfortable. Location was excellent for me (lower deck towards aft of ship, very little ship movement in this location).

Ports of call

Key West, Florida

5 out of 5
Key West is wonderful. USA's best island! Especially if you wander off away from the tourist stuff and seek out the local stores and restaurants. Of course, you have to go to Sloppy Joe's though. Recommend renting a scooter and cruising around the island.

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
To me nothing was a "must see", but there are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Most are very touristy. But if you like that, you will like this port. If you want to get away from the tourist areas rent a scooter and explore the island.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

5 out of 5
Very relaxing island. You can be active or sedate. There were lots of activities like scuba diving, snorkling, parasailing, etc. Or you can just lay in the sun on one of the many lounge chairs or hammocks around the island. Water is a beautiful turquoise.

Pros: Service, port of call, cleanliness of ship

Cons: Food
