We were originally booked and paid in full, on a Celebrity Edge cruise from Ft. Lauderdale, 45 minutes from our home, but cancelled when vaccinations not being required or assured in Florida, and instead flew 3625 miles to Seattle and switched to this cruise. On board the Inaugural Princess Cruise, first to Sail from USA and Maiden Cruise to Alaska for Majestic, July 25 -August 1. The cruise was wonderful. Great to be back on board.

The ship and service are in great condition, but between the current Covid restrictions and the enhanced Medallion app use, there are a lot of technical edges that need to be shaken out.

We wanted to go on this ship so chose a short trip with going to Hobart as a bonus. It was a very relaxing cruise. We were very surprised that we did not encounter many queue issues given the number of passengers.

We had information on the cruise at all the time as it was going to Singapore

Enjoy your cruise on a very clean looking and modern ship. The decor and seating is new and modern simply sit back and enjoy magnificent friendly service.

This cruise was perfect from start to finish. Safety drill was fun adding the love boat theme to it. Beautiful sailaway out of Sydney. Amazing food. Great shows just don't go long enough. Party band evolution is really good with a wider range of songs than other cruise ship party bands. Jumari is a very good singer too. Silver line is also a reasonable band on board too. Dj whitney is good. Lots of great movies to see onboard. Love the watercolour fantasy shows on deck 16. Game shows are quite good too. Hollywood is a great place to relax and take in all the scenery. Easy to get a water shuttle to get to the island and back to the ship with very little wait time. Australia day and hot Latin deck party were lots of fun. Ice carving, fruit & veg carving are good. Sadly no towel animals. Zumba is good a way to burn off your breakfast and have a bit of fun in the morning on sea days.

We were very excited to go on the majestic princess but end up very disappointed it is a very boring ship for young people. There is literally nothing much to do on the ship. People pushing shoving and fighting over food very disgusting behaviour 15% of the older crowd were nice the rest is shocking.

I love cruising. But this ship isn’t for me. Not enough fun activities and the pool deck music was pretty boring unless Whitney was playing

Exceptional .. only complaint is no offer of solo cabins with decreased price.

Overall disappointing except the port of calls, Ship is for older people 75 and above Staff do not care and some staff enjoy more than paying customers

The cruise was great sailing. The Princess theatre needs more seating reserved for people with disabilities.

10 out of 10 cruise have booked with Princess to go back to New Zealand in jan 2021 on the regal princess. Can not fault princess they go the back xtra mile in ever way.

Great cruise, food timings could have been expanded, very relaxing, great cruise director, NZ AWESOME!

We had our best holiday to date on the Majestic Princess to New Zealand. It had some frustrating times (like worrying about the kids in the pool - aged 11 and 9) but overall it was a fantastic and relaxing holiday. We were really able to live in the moment and forgot about the everyday stress at home. We have already booked our next Princess cruise and will be back on the Majestic Princess!

I was extremely disappointed when I was advised that I had missed out on the tour of the ship, I was one of the first to put my name down and to miss out was not a happy experience as I was so much looking forward to the experience 😡

Nice boat, good food, INTERNET DOES NOT WORK. Ports of call were average. this is not a cruise for families at that time. The age demographic was between 70-90. if you don’t have a walker or a wheel chair you would feel out of place

New Zealand beautiful.Would not Cruise on such a big ship again.

Overall this cruise was excellent. It was just what we needed as we had not had a break in about 18 months and all work full time. We were able to catch up on some much needed rest and just enjoy being together - lots of laughs and totally relaxed by the end of the cruise. Best thing was I did not have to cook Christmas Dinner this year!

Overall very good. The staff are attentive but photos, as expected are expensive but to have to pay $20 USD just for the digital copy and nothing else is absurd. Shore excursion is extremely overpriced in some locations.
