Enjoyed my spring break cruise. As a solo sometimes it’s hard to find people to get eat and play trivia with but I never did on this trip had a great time and would do it again.
Embarkation

I had booked the transfer from the airport to the cruise port. It took a minute to find the representative but she was very helpful and getting us to the bus. It was smooth going at the terminal and I was able to get on quickly.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Buffets were the same old same old but solid choices. MDR didn’t seem to have a lot of the favorites.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
I loved the Hollywood club (adults only) and that it was included on this ship and not a sanctuary up charge like other Princess ships. I spent most of my time there relaxing. Not a lot of other activities on the ship that weren’t sales pitches
Entertainment

They had a good comedian on the ship. They also had a mariachi band perform a few nights in the atrium and they were great
Service and Staff

My room steward was awesome and always greeted me with a smile.
The only issues I had was when ordering drinks through the app servers couldn’t always find me (even though I stayed put)and would mark the drink as delivered when they couldn’t find me.
Went on the la budaforda and home of the margarita tour. Due to an event we went to the margarita tour first at 8 am. The place was beautiful and the margarita was smooth. (Had an option of beer or coke as well) from there we then went to la budaforda to see the “natural phenomenon ”. To get there from where we parked we went through a gauntlet of shop owners offering sample and enticing you to spend money. The blow hole itself is very pretty and I loved the rainbow effects. The guide left us there and told us we had about 1 1/2 hours to be back on the bus. I bought a few souvenirs and had a good laugh when one shop owner said he had everything I could ever need in his shop including a boyfriend. On the way back we could see across the water to our shop through some fog and it looked so small.
I did the disembarkation tour of Venice Beach and Santa Monica pier. I thought we would be able to spend time at Venice Beach before going to Santa Monica, however all we did was walk a block to the beach from where the bus parked then down along the shopping area a couple blocks then back to the bus with the guide talking the whole time. He pointed out bathrooms but kept walking so those that stopped had to find and catch up to us.
When we got to Santa Monica pier we parked a couple of blocks away and we’re given approximately two hours to go on our own and explore. I really enjoyed going down and putting my toes in the water and enjoyed a little food before being dropped off at the airport.
I did the hop on hop off bus. It had a great variety of stops just know that if you get on it first thing in the morning you kind of have to go around a little bit before they start letting people off.
I met up with my great aunt who lives there. We went to Balboa Park, but none of the museums I wanted to see were open.We also went to old Town San Diego and walked through the shops and ate some great tacos. We ended up at the seaside village for more shopping before she dropped me back at the pier.
I never received information in my cabin on disembarkation procedures. I had received a notice about asking how I was getting off at the beginning of the trip but there was no luggage tags sent to my room.
