10 Night Southern Caribbean Seafarer (Ft. Lauderdale Roundtrip)
Sail Date: March 25, 2007
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 10 years ago
The ship's staff were attentive, but not fawning. They were polite and genuinely friendly. The ships was clean and bedding and linens fresh. The ship is older and some areas need general repair, chipped furniture, cracked sinks in the cabins. The food was the highlight of every day. We had been on other cruise lines and have never received such a high caliber of entrees.

Large staterooms with bath tubs. Clean, but needs some general repair of chipped tables and sinks.

The people were rude and not friendly. Seemed like they were too used to tourists being around.

Had enough time to take the ferry to St. John's for snorkeling.
Don't Miss: snorkeling

This was a very different stop. The people were friendly. The Emerald pool and rain forest trip is a must. The shopping was limited to "made in China" items. Although there were a few local Carib indian sales.
Don't Miss: Emerald Pool

The town is quant. The floating market and movable bridge interesting.
Don't Miss: Snorkeling at the sunken tub boat.

Pros: The variety, presentation, and taste of all the meals was great. Even the buffets offered excellent choices of freshly prepared gourmet level entrees.

Cons: The overall composition of the passengers was elderly. At age 50, we felt we were in the youngest 5% of the passengers.
