GREAT TIME by Joann527659448

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Liberty of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

WE HAD A GREAT TIME. THE SHIP WAS BEAUTIFUL. THE SERICE WAS OUTSTANDING EVERYBODY WAS EAGER TO HELP IN ANYWAY AND ALSWAYS SMILING. OUR WAITER AND ASSISTANT WAITRESS WERE THE BEST THEY COULDN'T DO ENOUGH BUT ALSO VERY HONEST NOT PHONEY.THERE WERE 15 FLOORS ON THE SHIP LIBERTY OF THE SEAS THE 15HT BEING THE CHAPEL. WE SAW FOUR WEDDINGS. WE HAD THE 8TH FLOOR A BALCONEY IT WAS NICE TO SEE THE PORTS WHEN U PULLED IN. WE WOULD SIT OUT THERE AND HAVE COFFEE. THERE WERE RESTAURANTS THAT PUT FOOD OUT AND U WOULD JUST WALK AROUND AND EAT ALL DAY. HINT JUST GO ON A DIET BEFORE U GO IF NOT YOU'LL BE SORRY WHEN U GET BACK HEAVIER THEN U LEFT. THE SHOWS WERE GREAT AND U DIDN'T FEEL LIKE U WERE ON A SHIP THIS IS OUR 2ND CRUISE FIRST TIME ON THIS SHIP. WE DIDN'T GET OFF AT ANY PORTS EXCEPT MEXICO. WE HAD THE SHIP TO OUR SELVES AND IT WAS GREAT. THE ONLY THING WE WEREN'T TO HAPPY ABOUT WAS THERE WERE TO MANY KIDS RUNNING AROUND AND IN THE ADULT POOLS. THE POOLS HAVE WATER THAT RUNS OFF AND U CAN SIT IN 2" OF WATER AND COOL OFF BUT THEN THE KIDS WOULD COME AND START JUMPING IN WHERE U WERE SITTING. THE KIDS WERE BEHAVED BUT I FEEL THEY HAD THEIR OWN POOL AND IT WENT UP TO 6'. ALSO THEY SHOULD HAVE THE SHIP SECTIONED OFF WITH FAMILIES WITH KIDS AT NITE WE WOULD HEAR THEM RUNNING UP AND DOWN THE HALLS. THERE WAS ALWAYS SOMETHING TO DO AND SEE ON THE SHIP. THE BARS WERE NICE AND ALSO THE GAMBLING. THERE WAS A RESTAURANT PORTOFINO THAT WE HAD DINNER AT THE NIGHT BEFORE WE CAME BACK THAT THE FOOD WAS REALLY GOOD. WOOULD RECOMMEND THIS SHIP.

Super Cruise by FW46167457

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Liberty of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

This ship was beautiful, clean, artistically decorated. Many activities overlapped so we missed some things we wanted to see or do. The size of the ship, too large, was probably the most negative thing. Otherwise, great ship.

Great cruise by SteveR12

Sail date: /
Ship: Liberty of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Very elegant. Excellent amenities. We've been on many cruises and this ship ranks at the top. Somewhat overcrowded at times, but still would highly recommend. The mini-suites are worth the upgrade. St Maartin and Labadee are outstanding ports of call. Be sure to book everything you want to do on Labadee ahead of time as the best items sell out. We did not like the San Juan old market at all. Do not recommend it. No one on ship told us what to do in San Juan other than walk over to the old town area. The ship personnel should have suggested taking a cab to the new San Juan downtown or their fabulous beaches!! Old town was an absolute waste of time and we could not wait to get back on board. They canceled the only activity we had planned for that port (scuba). One bad day did not ruin our trip at all. THE RC CREW SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO BE MORE FORTHRIGHT IN TELLING PASSENGERS THE PROS AND CONS OF SAN JUAN.

A great cruise by farahtout1

Ship: Liberty of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

I had the best time on the liberty of the seas on eastern carabean. there was an incident that I burned back of my hand on the buffet, while I was having dinner. i asked for simple service from the first floor, medical staff, and was very disappointed on how rude the doctor on call was.

An unforgetable family vacation by LindaG13

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Liberty of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

A wonderful experience! Royal Carribean Crusie Line goes the extra mile. Our recent cruise on the Liberty Of the Sea was much more that I had anticipated. The ship was absolutely beautiful, clean tastefully decorated and a spot for all your belongings. We had a balcony room, the only way to go. Early morning rising to gaze upon the sunrise was magnificant. Before retiring, we would sit in the moonlite and take in the ocean breeze. Entertainment was completely professional and well organized. The food was perfect, enough to satisfy everone's palit. But above all was the staff, polite, kind, caring and professional. Nothing was lacking and Dawight, our stateperson, went above and beyond to please our grandson Joshua. My thanks and appreiciation for making our family vacation wonderful, to you all. BRAVO!

What a ship! by RandeeG

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Liberty of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The production shows were fantastic, and the ice show should not be missed. Only one of three comedians was any good. The food was good in the dining room (not great), and in the buffet the food was average. Rooms were small but functional and had plenty of storage to unpack. Crew was friendly.

A few cruise thoughts by DaleR4

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Liberty of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The ship was very attractive, easy to get around on, and the activities were well presented and enjoyable. The only draw back to this ship seemed to be the crowding. There were just too many people for the common area space to handle, especially on the upper decks when at sea. This was of particular note in the Windjammer at meal times. Varing the times to eat in the Windjammer did not seem to make a difference.

Liberty of the Sea's fantastic ship by JillR1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Liberty of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Liberty of the Sea's was a fantastic ship, great ports of call. The airplane ride and transpotation to ship was extremely easy. Getting on board took no time at all. The food and service was the best. Our room cabin assisatant gave us the best treatment and made my son a animal made out of towels each night which he loved. The dining was absolutely fantastic the best food with the best views. The pool area was always clean and enough supply of towels to go around always a dry one! We had a fantastic time.

Very crowded by PatJ2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Liberty of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

1400 kids running all over the place. 1 a.m. curfew for under 17 seems very late. I was on the elevator (with every button pressed - game of kids) at midnight with a girl around 8 who was by herself. Decks very crowded when at sea. Windjammer VERY crowded for breakfast on port days. I purchased a ring for $200 last Fri. The following Monday stone fell out - husband purchased a $200 watched that stopped on Tuesday. Have not heard back from RC how to exchange either 2 days later.

Pretty good. by BrettB3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Liberty of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Beautiful ship! Great staff and the activities and food were great. There are a lot of people on this cruise so be prepared for lots of lines, waiting and crowds. You have to hurry everywhere so that you don't wind up in the back of the line. Because of the number of people you lose a little of the "personal touch" as well.
