Review summary

It was a great cruise for first timers. I think if we brought our teenagers, they might have been a little bored, and I do wish they had self serve soda machines. But it’s a nice short cruise for young children or young adults to celebrate all day into the night.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
It was crowded as expected, but the line moves steadily, and everyone was polite and helpful

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Service was stellar, which is why I’m giving five stars. Night 1 food in the MDR was only 3 stars (prime rib was very tough), 2nd night 4 stars (chicken Parm was great) and 3rd night 5 stars for the Caribbean chicken!!! It was soooo good!!!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Solarium pool mostly. Very nice and servers were available to take drink orders. Hot tubs were nice but often very full.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Ice-skating show was fantastic and loved all the trivia and karaoke and musicians on the ship.

Children's Programs

No kids with us

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone we encountered was nice, the waitstaff in the MDR were probably the best of everyone.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
This was our first cruise so we don’t have anything to compare it to but I really have no complaints, but 4 stars because there was some obvious wear and tear in places, particularly our stateroom bathroom. Everything was functional and clean though.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
First time on a cruise ship, so again, nothing to compare it to, but I was blown away at how spacious it was! Felt just as big as an average hotel room. Was pleasantly surprised that the bathroom was not cramped and tiny, and the showerhead pressure was amazing! Sink faucet pressure was very weak, but I don’t care as much about that. No power outlet in the bathroom, but that’s fine. There was one by the mirror in the cabin for the hairdryer. Our PA speaker did not work and the balcony light did not work, but neither were that important to me so I’m still leaving five stars.

Ship tip

If the elevators are backed up from everyone coming back from Port excursions, just take the elevator down to the bottom and then take it back up. Otherwise you will never get on.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

First cruise so I have nothing to compare it to but I think it was fine?

Nassau, Bahamas Did not visit port

The ship docked here, but since it’s only a three night cruise, we decided to stay on the boat and enjoy everything the boat had to offer that day.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
CocoCay was my very favorite part of the entire cruise. We splurged and bought beach club entrance and it was so beautiful and relaxing. Plus, we were able to leave and explore other parts of the island as well. Would book this cruise again just to go back to CocoCay

Disembarkation

We carried our luggage with us And use our passports, and it was very simple and fast to walk off.
