Review summary

I really enjoyed this cruise. I cruised with Royal about 7-8 times now. Service was amazing. Ship was a good size. The 9 day itinerary was really nice.

Embarkation

Easy peasy embarkation. From curbside to poolside in about 30 minutes

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
MDR staff was absolutely amazing! They catered to my daughter's unusual food allergies and tailored meals for her. It was like she had her own personal chef.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Cigarette smoke filled the Promenade and Schooner Bar, preventing us from enjoying some of the events there

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Ok, nothing really over the top

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Every crew member was amazing, especially in the MDR

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
They were cleaning 24/7. Every time I went into a public bathroom, it had just been cleaned

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
A little tight. If anyone sat at the desk, it was a road block. Bed was ok, pillows too fat and hard

Ports of call

Cape Liberty (Bayonne), New Jersey

Easy port to get in and out of. If you need to park your car, it's so convenient
