Review summary

This was great first time cruise on a beautiful ship. We cruised as a group of 16 (4 families of 4). The teens and adults always had something fun to do. I was surprised there wasn’t more down time. We wanted to experience everything the ship had to offer, even the silly shopping presentations.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Excellent embarkation. We were dropped off right in front of the terminal where porters took our bags. So easy!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We mostly ate in the main dining room for all dinners and most breakfasts. I remember the food being really good.

Chop's Grille

5 out of 5

I have never once had a bad meal at Chops. I love that you can also order the Filet Mignon in the main dining room. One can never eat too much Filet. Always tender, juicy, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. All the sides were delicious too.

Sorrento's Pizza

5 out of 5

The pizza here was really good!! I loved having access to it at most hours of the day for a slice here and there to ride us over till our next dining experience.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Fitness center was very nice. Only one rower So had to carefully watch for when it was free.

Jogging Track

5 out of 5

Get out and use it before it gets too hot out. I do not recommend doing lunges around the whole perimeter. I did and the stairs were sheer torture for the remainder of the cruise.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Loved the aerial circus performance. My 19 yo son is an accomplished aerialist and we travelled with 3 other circus families. The kids were all very impressed at the skill of the performers.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Room steward was great! Dining room waiters were amazing for our large group of 16.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was really big. It took some planning to make sure we left our cabin with enough time to get to our venues on time.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Perfect for a family of 4 with the addition of a roll away bed for our younger teen age son. We loved the huge walk-in closet that kept us organized and offered a private changing room.

Ship tip

Bring Nalgene bottles and fill them at the water fillers or water spout at the soda fountains. We all had drink packages that included water but we hate the plastic waste.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5

George Town, Grand Cayman

3 out of 5
The locals seemed very aloof and almost rude. We got stuck in a very long traffic jam trying to get back to the ship.

Falmouth, Jamaica

4 out of 5
We really didn’t get to know Falmouth. We went to the Hilton Rose Hall resort for a day. It was nice and fun for a group if 16 of us.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy. Found our bags right away.
