Last time I went with RC, in 1983 it was elegant, absolutely the best, now it’s lost a lot of its splendor and now seems like it’s lost a lot! More of just another party
Embarkation

Long lines, disorganized
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Clean and well done. Main Gallery area was magnificent.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Dinner times overlapped evening performances so we missed many. Other ships don’t schedule so many events overlapping things, especially dinner.
Entertainment

Ok, they were talented but the shows were not that exciting
Children's Programs
No children with us
Service and Staff

It was good service but you can sense stress. They were not as happy and excited as other ships we had been on, but they all begged for the highest scores possible (tackey), I felt bad for them.
Ship Quality

Really clever Main Street looking area an A+++. I liked the layout. The touches of different art in the star ways was really nice.
Cabin / Stateroom

Great room, I like the set up of the room, it seemed like the bed being put the way it was made the whole cabin look and feel bigger. Bed was too hard, I liked the shower design
Ship tip
This seemed seemed more like the famous “ party cruise line” like *C, then what I expected from
Nice Island, parts of it are really pretty. We did a highlights, mangroves and beach and didn’t know what to expect. Stopped for a nice view and pictures, tables were set up in the middle nowhere to pressure. The boat ride was real nice… NO SALE! And finally another beach break with high prices and several tables set up to pressure sell
Nothing is classy, elegant or tasteful now days. Just like Vegas. It used to be classy now it’s just 🤮. Times change. Unfortunately, culture and society has definitely changed for the worst.
1983….2022. Sorry to say, but the mainstream cruise industry is just that, mainstream with a lot of issues stemming from Covid, war, and general world economic issues.
You’re really comparing it to what it was like in 1983? You say you’ve been on other cruises so you must know times have changed and ‘regal’ isn’t what most of the mainstream cruise lines are aiming for.
