Review summary

What a beautiful and well maintained ship. We bought the all digital photo package on sale over Black Friday - at a 50% discount, and we had so much fun with it. We took every opportunity we had to get our photo taken by the staff, and just did some silly things. My wife and daughter had the refreshment package and got their money's worth out of the specialty coffees alone. I stuck with the coke package, and couldn't have been happier. I liked the souvenir cups and found myself taking it with me often. This was certainly a cruise to remember. The staff aboard was super-helpful. We had a few instances where we received conflicting information, but nothing that caused much stress. The shows were amazing. If you get a chance, book the Mystery Dinner. It's performed by the entertainment staff and they did such a great job - we had so much fun. Not to mention, the dinner provided from one of the specialty dining venues was awesome.

Food and Dining

Our wait staff in the main dining room was amazing.

Onboard Activities

We had such a great time.

Entertainment

Loved all the performers and stage shows. Holy cow, that amazing dance couple - #dancegoals!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our waiters for table 414 were awesome. The head waiter was super-friendly and checked in on us often. Joseph, our steward went above and beyond to make our room nice and tidy, and my parents steward, Annie, went out of her way to accommodate my elderly parents needs.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The only thing I didn't like about the ships design was finding our rooms :-(

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
For what we selected, the room was great. This is the first time we've ever sailed in an interior room. While the room for it's size was great, I missed my balcony considerably. It would be a great room for a few kiddos, but couples might find it a bit cramped.

Ship tip

Get to know the deck plan. If your room is on the 3rd deck, the layout is odd with Studio B in the middle: basically, you need to go up to Deck 4 to go back down to deck 3 vs. walking straight through as you can on other decks..

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
The port is okay with plenty of shopping options. We did the RCL Panorama tour. It was okay. The tour guides were excellent, but it felt like it was one long infomercial geared toward up-selling me something.

George Town, Grand Cayman

4 out of 5
The port was amazing (Five Stars) and water was beautiful. We did the Coral Beach Resort excursion, I did not get the feeling that what we received was what we were sold in the online promotional materials. I felt like a sardine packed into a tiny section of beach.

Falmouth, Jamaica

5 out of 5
I loved Jamaica. The port was the best one of our trip. It was amazing. We took the 1700s Plantation Tour, and this excursion exceeded my expectations. We selected it to accommodate my parents, so I wasn't sure what I'd get from the experience. Nevertheless, it was amazing. The location is beautiful, the food was really good, and our tour guides were super-helpful.

Disembarkation

Great! We were a late group to get off, but disembarkation was quick and efficient.
