This was our 3rd trip on the Liberty, and it did not disappoint. 3rd different cruise director, and he was very good as were the previous 2. Love the layout on the ship. We always like to book one of the balcony rooms on the 12th floor. Very clean and very private. I highly recommend this ship, but plan a cruise on this ship before November 2021 because it seems it's leaving Galveston and being replaced by the Allure of the Seas in November 2021.

Onboard Activities

So much to do. Very nice fitness center. Great gambling experience and a very nice staff in the casino. Actually won a decent amount of money. Hot tubs are very nice. Trivia games are fun, but schedule more Tri-Bond types of games. Also, music and performances everywhere. Belly flop competition hilarious as always. One of our favorites to watch.
Entertainment

Top notch. Performance staff is the best ever. Saturday Night Fever production beyond professional. As good or better than anything you'll see on Broadway. The early show of SN Fever had to be canceled due to rough water conditions, but the ship offered an alternative singing act performed by a member of the performance crew, Brandy. What a bonus!!! Amazing performance and voice. We recommend that the ship feature her as a singing performance with each cruise. No need to bring another singer aboard when you already having a singing talent this on board.
Service and Staff

Very friendly. Staff from all over the world. Shout out to the Casino staff. Had a lot of fun with them. Always welcomed me by name. Very friendly....much nicer than you find in Vegas. Also, the greeter at the Wind Jammer was excellent. Always smiling, singing and dancing.
Ship Quality

Liberty is one of my favorite ships. Very clean and bathrooms everywhere. The ship just needs a sandwich shop on Deck 11 at the Solarium like other ships.
Cabin / Stateroom

Excellent! Very clean. We love the balcony cabins on Deck 12. One floor above the fitness center and a straight elevator ride down to the Platinum Theater, the Schooner bar and casino; and a quick walk across Deck 11 to the Wind Jammer.
Ship tip
Take a Yedi cup for your coffee or cold drinks. Take sanitation wipes to wipe down all surfaces in your cabin.
We did the catamaran with snorkeling excursion. We've done this before, and by comparison this particular trip was disappointing. The catamaran was much smaller and the crew was far less interactive, organized and funny as our previous experience. If this was the first time you did this excursion, then you probably had a good time, but given I have a much better previous experience to compare to, this particular excursion fell well short of expectations. On the previous excursion, the crew was far more safety conscious as well. For example, the crew did not offer fins when snorkeling and the current was rather strong making it a bit of a struggle to get back to the boat when finished with snorkeling. In addition, there weren't as many crew in the water with the guests. Also, the excursion was to include snacks, but those were never offered. They just didn't seem to be all that organized.
