Review summary

If I was rich I would take a cruise on the Liberty at least once a month. Getting off the ship was really sad and depressing. I will be depressed until the next cruise. The Liberty was a really nice ship and we really enjoyed the cruise.

Embarkation

The key package was indispensable. It made embarkation and disembarkation so much easier and gave us many perks and privileges during the cruise that we enjoyed. Going forward I will not sail without the key package.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Saboors and Chops were great. So was the windjammer. We especially liked breakfast at the windjammer. That was a great way to start the day.

Onboard Activities

The casino was really nice except for all the cigarette smoke. You would get more people to come to the casino and stay longer if you would make it totally no smoking. We looked for things to do other than the casino in order to avoid all the tobacco smoke. We would liked to have spent more time in the casino were it not for choking on tobacco smoke.

Entertainment

The shows on the liberty were good high quality shows. We especially enjoyed Saturday Night Fever. We really enjoyed the choice seats that the key package gave us.

Great staff. We were treated very well by all staff on the Liberty.

Ship Quality

I really liked seeing hand sanitizer everywhere and it was good to see ships staff stationed at the entrance to windjammer and the dining rooms to make everyone use hand sanitizer. Anyone who refuses to use hand sanitizer should be thrown overboard.

Cabin / Stateroom

Excellent balcony cabin. The room attendant was great. I wish I could remember his name. We were in room 8558 if that helps. Our room was always clean and well kept. We appreciate the great service.

Ship tip

Take the ships tour. It’s worth it to get to see the internal workings of the ship. We got to see the engineering control room and we got to see the bridge and take pictures on the bridge. On port days when everyone else got off the ship, we had the hot tubs all to ourselves so we sat in the hot tub for hours and the folks at the bar brought us frozen drinks. That was fantastic.
