Loved going on Liberty of the Sea's, smooth cruise and the staff there was wonderful especially our Cabin Guy. All would help you if they even saw that you were confused as to where something was and always with a smile.
Liberty of the Seas Cruise Review to Caribbean - Western
We loved it and in fact we hated to get off ship because then came the stress back. Once my husband and I retire we hope that we could one time do back to back cruises.
Embarkation

The wait on the Inspectors was horrible slow. On our return there were 3 of them that decided to have a conversation and laughing was involved so they was not working and there were long lines. There were others that truly didn't goof off like our did. Did not get the name but he was a scrooge. I understand that with this government thing and not getting paid but do NOT take that out on the customers that paid good money they worked hard for to go relax and not have a hard time getting through. People have to get to their home destination and get ready for work and all that relaxation they did on board went down the toilet. I understand there is a lot of people on board these ships but if you don't like what your doing then quit, there are others that enjoy their job meeting and greeting customers with a smile and not a frown.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Fantastic. Our My Time dining gentlemen was awesome. They had our drinks taken and then came for our dinner items we wanted and just was busting their butts to get things to you in a fashionable time. Hated to leave.
Onboard Activities

The only issue I had was that where the pools was there were a lot of kids in the Hot Tubs that thought of this as a lets go under water and do this or they were in/out of the Hot Tub. Made for a very uncomfortable situation. Their parents could care less. But if these kids doing this got hurt you better believe they would come after you guys for allowing them to stay in there doing what they were doing. Go into the pool and do that because the Hot tub is there for relaxation.
Entertainment

Loved the Saturday Night Live review because we got to go back stage and meet and take pictures with some of the performers and that was awesome and we sat front row. Their performances was excellent. Also loved the show that is on Deck 5 with all the disco singers/dancers. I look forward to that one as they do the Congo line and so much fun to dance the evening away. Great performers all over the ship. We will be back again. This is our 5 time on RCCL.
Children's Programs
No kids on board. Ours is all grown up and have one child in which we hope to get them on board some day.
Service and Staff

Hector our room steward was Super great, he deserves a raise. He catered us like Kings/Queens. He had fresh towels once he knew we were out of the room and made beds, cleaned bathroom and just everything he did was fantastic. We was in a Jr. Suite and loved it and will never go back to the smaller rooms. Gotten used to the luxury of the Suite's.
Ship Quality

Yes everything was great. I don't know how patient I would be like for example out by the pool the guys were taking care of the water on the decks. Never did I see one of them get upset when kids were in and out of the pools/hot tubs dripping water all over the place. All the bathrooms were very clean with one exception and they need to make sure the floors are somewhat dry where people go into the bathroom from the pool area's. And there needs to be more room between chairs that are on deck so one can actually get to sit down. With them backed up so close to one another one has to crawl on the end to the front and hope the chairs don't flip.
Cabin / Stateroom

Was a great size with lots of space and I love that. I don't want to be in one anymore that is so cramped that you bump into things especially at night when you have to get up in the middle of the night.
Ship tip
Enjoy, Relax and let the Staff spoil you rotten. Your on Vacation so chill down.
No not at the Galveston port, even though there is restaurants and shops there for you to go see and a restaurant names Willie G's has great tasting seafood but you need reservations for this place because it is crowded.
This is a poverty town to me because last years or the year before that (not sure) my husband and I went Zip Lining (Fun, but I am afraid of heights, but they got a guide to go with me and that was better) we had to drive through the town to where you saw stray dogs running the streets and just poverty everyone you saw. So we got off ship only to buy shirts for our son and his son (our grandson) and then got back on board.
No excursion's and just went off ship to shop and then back on board. We have been to these ports before so there was nothing else we were going to do.
You say you know he's working and not getting paid and you can't understand why he may have an attitude. He's watching you and everyone else coming back from the vacation he knows he probably can't afford to go on now. Do you think he gives a rat's ass about getting you and everyone else home so they can go to their paying jobs?
