Was supposed to be a last minute cruise with an adult friend of mine since our kids (normal cruising buddies) were in school. My friend had to bail, as he wasn't allowed to travel during government shutdown so my mother took his spot. Other than cooler temps and a rocky ship a few sailing days, was wonderful. Can't wait to cruise again!

MDR for breakfast, lunch, & dinner were great. Loved our waiter & assistant waiter. Sorrento's Pizza... love it! Used room service for breakfast a few times... nice too.

First time in an inside cabin at the aft of the ship on deck 8. Very cost effective, especially since you're only in it to nap or sleep at night. Great for budgeting more than one cruise a year! Quiet and smooth even with cooler weather & winds.

Very aggressive & irritating vendors and shops in the port. Stay away from Roma's Jewelry one of the first shops inside the port. They sell fake jewelry, but didn't notice for my mother until we were home and googled their name & looked at reviews. She brought her "chocolate diamond" to a real dealer in the states back home, and its not anything. Not even silver or white gold band. They insisted on having some cash and not putting all on the credit card. Hopefully my mother can challenge her credit card charge so she'd only be out $100 cash she put down there. I'm going back in March... would love to tell the owner & idiots a few things.
Group B self-assist from MDR on back of ship. Was out with no problem & through customs and at car in parking lot by 8:15am! Never a problem with self-assist disembarkation.
