Review summary

This cruise was a blast. We did splurge and bought the all inclusive beverage package which was worth every penny. The outdoor movies as well as in the indoor 3D movies were a blast. I would definitely cruise on Liberty of the Seas again.

The main dining room offered a good selection and variety. I was constantly having to debate between several options each night. The buffet was excellent for breakfast but very hit or miss at lunch and dinner. They did try to offer multiple options on the buffet but often for us it was just not very desirable looking.

We enjoyed playing the casino at different times throughout the cruise and there was a good variety of slot machines. The hot tubs were amazing on deck 11 in the 16+ section.

Magnetic hooks were a life saver and very handy to hang our sea passess/lanyards up in the room with.

We did the extreme adventure combo and this was my first experience with zip lining. Loved it!

Our snorkeling with the sharks and stingrays was canceled by the vendor due to the weather conditions. We were given a full refund by Royal Caribbean so that was nice. We did some shopping in the port and did not feel safe enough to venture out of the port gates by ourselves.

Cozumel, Mexico

We rented a scooter here and drove around the island. We stopped at Mr. Sancho's and had a great time. The food, especially the mixed seafood ceviche was great. The drinks were hit or miss depending on who was doing the pouring behind the bar. Overall, my favorite port that we went to.

We were off the ship and on the road by 1000 the morning we arrived back in Galveston. That was even with us having RC carry our bags off for us.

Where are the 3D movies? I cruised liberty last year and didn't see anything like that. We're going for 2 weeks on her this February and would like to check it out!
