Review summary

We had a wonderful cruise with our family - 19 people. Royal was good but i'd book with Norwegian next time... We liked their entertainment, activities, my time dining without the required "Formal Nights" and we didn't have any of the issues with Norwegian with our bill or our guest on board credit like we did with Royal... Royal had so many issues with their internet service and we had to go back to the desk multiple times to resolve issues. I am on vacation and do not want to waste my precious time off standing in line talking to customer service.

The Size of the bars for late night activities needs to be adjusted! There was a county music band that was outstanding but four of the nights we went to listen and dance the venue was almost empty.. the Karaoke bar was busting at the seams and the fun games planned that we wanted to view in that location "Studio B" we left three times because there wasn't anywhere to sit. Bad planning We also loved the comedians and were disappointed that they did not have multiple shows available every night. On other ships - Not Royal- there is either a comedy club to attend or they had multiple shows at various time frames - G/PG rated and Adult only- shows to attend. Needs improvement in this area.

although I had to spend way too much time at Guest Services trying to work out errors on our bill, the staff was amazing and was very helpful in resolving our concerns.

typical inside cabin; toilet needed servicing the last two days... it was annoying, especially in the middle of the night when it wouldn't flush and was taking on water.

Ship tip

bring a lanyard from home bc the ship charges for them... most other cruise lines give you one in your room for free.

Cozumel, Mexico

Playa Mia was amazing! We booked independently bc it was cheaper and we could get to the resort a lot faster than going with the cruise line. We arrived just before 9am and were able to get checked in quickly and had front row chairs, umbrellas and rented a cabana also right next to the waters edge. Great place for adults and children. Would go back again
