Review summary

I enjoyed this cruise much more that the cruises I took on Carnival. Little more expensive but worth it. You definitely get what you pay for here. Pros: Great food and drinks on the ship throughout the cruise Great customer service, many of the service people will learn your name by the 2nd day. Getting around the ship is easy if you are good a walking and riding an elevator and maybe even a few flights of stairs every now and then. Cons: Beer selection was a little lacking, I prefer craft beers not much of that on the ship No dedicated areas to watch sports, I love baseball and other sports found myself wanting to have a drink and watch sports (no sports bar) Pool is crazy on days at sea, go early to get a chair 4000 people 2 small pools equals a lot of closeness while in the water. I Avoided the pool because of the large amount of people and kids running around with ice cream dripping all over everything.

Watch out for the locals that want to escort you down the street to the taxi loading area. They will expect a tip for it. Otherwise great people very friendly. Look for Hector as your "Tour guide" if you go the Little French Keys Resort. I recommend this excursion if you are into a laid back day in the water and on the beach. Food and drink was good too.

Not much to do at the port typical shops and novelty stores and a couple of Bars and Restaurants. Many of the excursions will have you driving for an hour to get there and an hour to get back. Watch your time. Because there is also about a 30 -45 minute tender ride from the ship the port.

Pace your self. Easy to overdo an locals are good at getting tourists to overdo and become loose with the cash. I heard from a friend. :)

I have been on Carnival Norwegian and Royal...my preference is Royal...I love Liberty...i agree with you...I thought the shows were much better too..and I liked the solarium for reading and laying out

Best time to enjoy pool is on port days, come back a little early to enjoy it with hardly anybody there, only time we have gone in it.

I almost never attempt to go swimming on board. There’s usually plenty of opportunity for beach time at the various ports of call... Thank you for your excellent review, CeeBo! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜Š

Her sister ship Independence Of The Seas just added a sports bar with lots of TVs and a pool table.
