Review summary

NO MORE SHIPS!!!! I'll go on a REAL all inclusive and pay half as much, see twice as much and enjoy myself 100% more, Cruise lines wake up people are not going to continue to invest in your floating cash cows too much longer.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Organized and fairly fast

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Ship's main dining room excellent!! Food great, service awesome!! Buffets-crowded and food mediocre. Specialty-didn't use IM on an ALL-INclusive why pay for the food?

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Royal Carribean: if someone pays over $2750 for three people to stay in one room, make your game and activity prizes worth winning. A recycleable shopping bag? PLEASE!! A ball point pin? REALLY? A notepad? Are you serious? What a crock.... I playedin the volleyball tournament, 10 scavanger hunts, Trivia, Bingo, ping pong, shuffle board.... Our ship was 75% over the age of 60-schedule outdoor activities to that level not for the 75 kids you have. How about Wiffle Ball tournament? I don't know be creative look at your demographics, And redo your library-WTF no english books and terrible small selection. If I'm stuck 3-4 days at sea give me something to read or even sell npaperback books.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
High school musical quality. Main line shows only one the acrobatic show was great. Others, okay

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Rodney room 6302 our room steward EXCELLENT Santana Fernandez and Jarbson-Dining room-Better than EXcellent We tipped an extra $350 to our staff Royal Carribean what are you giving them? NOT MUCH!!

Ship Quality

That was lovely

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
We were told we would have a fold out couch since we booked 4 months ago and had three adults. NO we had two single and a bunk bed that no-one in our party could climb up to. One person slept on the floor on a pallet. NOT ACCEPTABLE!!

Ship tip

DON'T GO... Book an all inclusive where you wont be nickle and dimed to death, where you will be comfortable and you'll see what you were planning on seeing. Not get to a port of only three and have everything cancelled due to bomb scares and unruly natives.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Will travel back direct to an all-inclusive on island. DO NOT BOOK ANY EXCURSIONS THROUGH ROYAL CARRIBBEAN. We booked through Shipmate and the similiar excursion through ship was three times as much and not nearly as fun.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

3 out of 5
Why are you paying to sit on the beach the ONLY attraction in this fishing village????

Cozumel, Mexico

1 out of 5
Bomb scare, rude people, military evrywhere shouting at everyone... Can't wait to go back....NOT

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Fast Orderly... YEA WE WERE HOME!!

Really... If you spend a lot on board, or at port... Who's fault is that? I'm sure RCI holds a towel animals to your head making you spend that much. Do your research ahead of time. If your not happy, don't book it. Simple.

Cruises are all inclusive. Alcohol is always optional.

I went on one all-inclusive...never again! We don't drink alcohol and the food was bad i actually lost weight. This was a more expensive all-inclusive. My brothers love them, but they also love laying on the.beach all day and have their drinks. We will stick to cruising. A whole lot more fun for people who dont want to get drunk everyday.

Guess it depends on the all inclusive. All the ones I looked into were more expensive than cruising. I agree with twangster, don't like to fly so for me cruising is better but everyone has different tastes.

Cruising isn't for everyone. I still love it compared to flying to a destination. To each their own.
