Embarkation was easy, not a long wait. It was pretty fast compared to other cruise lines.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Ok, I don't understand why people complain about ships buffets and food. The food on here was good. The buffet is not a specialty restaurant, but the food was warm, there were different choices. I am vegan, and i had a good variety of food for me. I think there are a lot of food snobs, that think everything has to be 10. (If you are that way, then you need to pick the specialty restaurants) But its a buffet, and they have to serve food that is good for the masses. The only negative i can say about this ship's buffet Windjammer/Jade layout was not good. The set up was weird. The main dining rooms food was amazing to me. The service was amazing. The servers were friendly and trying to help as fast as they could. They deserve praise.

Boleros

5 out of 5

The r bar and the boleros lounge was the two best bars on the ship. The services and the drinks....so good. The bartenders were great. Fast and courteous service.

Onboard Activities

Positives: The pools were awesome for kids and adults. My son had a blast. But I also like going to the adult pool. The adult pool on this ship was one of the best I have been on in my 9 cruises. It was deeper and it has a swim up bar to set your drinks. Then on the other side of the swim up bar it was 6"11 deep so me being 6"2 could swim without touching the bottom. I was here 70% of my cruise. I played Volleyball one of the days, it was a lot of fun. The flow rider my son enjoyed. And I loved the ice skating. I can say i did that on a ship while sailing and didn't hurt myself.

Best part of the ship.

Entertainment

First the shows were a 5. The shows were great. The first show was like Cirque du Soleil, but didn't have to pay the 100 dollars to see it because it was part of the cruise. It was beautiful and a show to see. The ice skating show was simply amazing. To do jumps as the ship is moving was incredible. 2 out of the 3 comedy shows were good. I was laughing so hard.Only negative was that the shows were sometimes really late like 11pm so you need a nap sometimes to go see them. And there was The reason i gave the 3 is the DJ was not good. He didn't understand when to play music or what to play. He is one of the worst, and I have only has 3 really bad djs out of the 9 cruises I have done.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
The kids club was one of the best out of all the cruises my kids have done. My son loved it. The times were so great. The 9am-11am, 2pm-5pm, and 7pm-10pm. My son was like, mom I would like to go. Some of the movies at night were kids and they kids could watch from the pool. They had great activites during the kid's club.

The overall style and comfort was great.

Ship tip

The tip I would give you is to relax and enjoy. Everything was relaxing. Its not a party cruise and its not a cruise for someone looking for a lot of ship offered activities that don't have a cost. Its a relaxing family cruise or age groups ranging from 50 and up. 25-50 age groups might have some struggles for things to do in the in between times.

7 mile beach is amazing. Its only 5 dollars per person to take a taxi each way and the taxi's are safe.

Falmouth, Jamaica

This was so much fun. We took the taxi to Blue Waters Beach, it costs 10 dollar each way per person and when you get to the beach its 10 dollars for adults and 5 for kids 11 and under. It was worth the money. There are beach chairs for everyone. The water was blue and beautiful, my 11 year old didnt want to leave. They had a dj that played fun music it was a great time.
