We had a great time. You can always pick apart a vacation, but we look forward to this and go with the intentions of making the best of it and creating more fun memories. But truly, there wasn't anything that we could complain about! We love cruising on Royal Caribbean and the Liberty is a great ship!
Embarkation

We arrived about 11:45. We started through, had to stop at the security check point and wait for about 10 minutes, but once we started moving again, the rest of the process went really fast and we were on the ship!

Food and Dining

Food was great. We ate in the MDR each evening for dinner and a couple of times for breakfast. Sometimes we did the Windjammer for breakfast/lunch, depending on what we were doing. We did Johnny Rockets (first time) for lunch one day, that was fun. Service was great and the food was good too!
We purchased the drink package before the cruise, so once we got on the ship, we were ready!
Onboard Activities

Sea Days were started out at the pool. We gave bingo a shot one day. Did some wine tasting and lunch at Sabor's one day for their guacamole & margarita class which included a great lunch! that was a fun experience!
Entertainment

We did most of the shows. The comedian that was there for the second night was really funny! The group Mosaic, was great, very talented group. Saturday Night Fever and Up in the Air, good shows. We love trying them all out!
Children's Programs

We had our 10 year old grandson with us. He was on the Liberty with us two years ago and on the previous trip they had created a lot of excitement about what would be coming up at other session times, making it sound exciting so the kids would want to come back. Our daughter said they really didn't seem all that excited this time (with the exception of one of the young men and he was great with the kids). My grandson did fine and had a good time, it was more my daughters observation between the two different times being on the same ship.
Service and Staff

We had nothing but great interaction with the staff and people that were helping make our vacation a great time. We connected with the people in the Pub and they would great us by name whenever we came in.
Our dining room waiter and assistant waiter gave us outstanding service (table 492). Joseph was the assistant waiter and was often the greeter in the morning and lunch in the Windjammer, having everyone sanitize their hands. He's got an outgoing and fun personality.
Ship Quality

We love the Freedom Class ships. The Liberty is extra special with the Kid's H20 pool and the fun water slides at the back of the ship. The ship looked clean and updated. (When we were on the ship in 2016 it was going into dry dock after our cruise to add the water slides and to do some remodeling and refreshing).
Cabin / Stateroom

We had an inside cabin. The room was fine, no complaints at all. Our room attendant was Neiwman, he kept our room clean and refreshed twice a day. He would slip in when we were out. If he did see us, he always greeted us by name.
Ship tip
Don't try to put stuff out at the pools to save lounge chairs. We noticed that they were monitoring stuff that was left and if it was out there for awhile, it got removed. We appreciated the efforts so that people that were actually out at the pool could have a chair!
We were off the ship so quickly, we were surprised. When we sailed on the Liberty two years ago, we got hung up in the customs area and almost missed our flight. This time we were off early and it was a breeze.
