Review summary

Our total experience was a great one. Our dining room waiters Maurice and Igede were the best! Keneesha served our (adult) children’s table and she could not have been a better fit! They loved her! Our room attendant Catherine was great as well. Rooms stayed clean, always had a bucket of ice and was just there for anything we needed. We were disappointed in how our excursion in Grand Cayman was handled once we were told half of it was not going to happen. But was not told til we were already on the boat. We paid $51 per person for a sunken submarine snorkel excursion with light refreshments. What we got was a sunken ship with a half a plastic cup of water. The sunken ship excursion without refreshments I had already priced out at $35. When we went to guest services, they said that ‘water was the redeshment’ And they apologized for the misunderstanding. They pretty much had nothing to say about the fact we got a cheaper sunken ship excursion vs the more expensive submarine we paid for. In the end we got $5 refunded per person. Gee, thanks. This was our first cruise. We usually do all inclusive resorts. We like to be a little less scheduled and more relaxed when we vacation. Cruising is meant to be busy, totally understand that. That’s why we like resorts and will stick to that in the future.

We stood in line to ice skate, but were over run by cutting in line kids and adults. There is no structure in that process. So where we were about 30 deep in line, didn’t take long with people ctting to realize we weren’t going to make the 50 people cut off and left the line.
