Overall, we enjoyed this vacation. It wasn't the best cruise or cruise ship we have ever been on, but it wasn't bad either. Fell right in the middle.
Embarkation

Overall, ok. Was very busy but I suppose that is to be expected. Cruise terminal at Galveston was fairly well organized.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
As to be expected, the specialty restaurants outshined the dining room. That being said, the dining room food was good too.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Always plenty to do. My one gripe was that they used almost half of the pool deck for a children's pool area, yet most of the kids are in the regular pool, leaving very little room. This also made for a crowded experience in the pool deck area. This is not my favorite ship arrangement.
Entertainment
2 out of 5
The ice show was pretty amazing. Other then that, I find the main shows pretty corny. A big gripe of mine is the lack of live music from 5- 8 pm. This is the time that the later dinner guests (like myself) want to enjoy cocktails and entertainment, but the choices are lacking.
Service and Staff

Excellent. Friendly and on top it!
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Cleanliness is 5 stars. See my comments regarding the pool layout, above. Also, I don't like the way they tucked the Windjammer Café into the back of the ship, quite a ways from the exit to the open air deck 11. For those of us that like to grab food to eat on the open air deck (since the dining tables in the windjammer were generally packed!), it was a long walk. Plus, there were no tables/chairs close to the deck entrance, so even when you reached the deck you had to walk a while to get to a table and chairs. Not a good arrangement.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Excellent cabin. It is the first balcony cabin on the port side. As a result, the front end of the balcony is clear and you get an unobstructed view of front of the ship and the direction you are going! Amazing!! I highly recommend this cabin.
We enjoyed the visit to Roatan. We did a third party excursion with snorkeling, horseback riding, zip lining and a visit to a rescue sanctuary where we got to see and pet sloths, monkeys, parrots, etc. Great day!
