Enchantment was planned to come to TX and sail to Bahamas and Panama next year. The Panama cruise in Nov 2018 was almost sold out. Now they are cancelling it all. Liberty will stay here but with limited destinations.

are you speaking of enchantment or liberty moving?

A boy, there was a discount of $300. And onboard credit of $150. We booked a jr. suite. However, I just heard they were going to cancel all sailings from Galveston on Enchantment. They are putting the ship in Miami instead. I am very disappointed.

yeah, I booked last March for this June through rc. It is one week on Liberty, family of 4, large panoramic ocean view, 4,100. The kids are getting to big for a regular room. Not sure how we will start affording suites.

Well the cruise line's no longer offering the on board credit when you book directly on the ship won't keep us off the ship. Our 2010/2011 Transatlantic on Liberty really spoiled us. Booking online is easy. I did take notice on prices for Repositioning cruises including transatlantic and transpacific. They're going to move the ships at certain times of the year anyway. So if days at sea are your thing you can great a great value on a longer cruise. Having booked 12 to 18 months in advance on these longer cruises I haven't seen the prices fluctuate much except on the inside cabins. Most folks booking ahead on these cruises are booking balconies and suites because they like the ocean crossing. At any rate I'm curious to see if any early booking or on board incentives are offered while we're on Rhapsody in December 2018. If not, no big deal, we'll plan ahead for another cruise anyway. Seems like the buy one get 50% off runs every couple of months with Royal. Sometimes booking a package through an agent gets you a better deal on a hotel and onboard credit by it most likely depends on the time of year, too. Seasonal rates will always apply.

I saw 400 a couple years ago and went to book...there was no savings , no % off any guest and only certain sail months. Seemed nice though 😀

Hey Patrick now that I think of it the last time we saw the $600 onboard credit incentive for booking another cruise while you're on the ship was our last Transatlantic on Liberty. We didn't see it offered when we were on Oasis last year.

Patrick4    7 years ago

never seen 600 on board credit, ever.

Janice4005 what incentive to book next cruise?

rmarple    7 years ago

If you can handle your own bags, you will be first off the ship. Around 8:30 or so. We’ve done that the last three cruises.

Great savings when you book ahead for your next cruise right on the ship. Although cruise prices will fluctuate somewhat through the the year, they don't fluctuate much and prices are consistent across the board no matter Where you book from. I think Royal still offers $600 onboard credit for your next cruise if you book your next cruise while you're cruising. Embarkation/Debarkation times are probably going to be slower on the Carribean cruises. We experienced longer waits for Oasis on. 7 day Caribbean cruise but we literally breezed through embarkation on Liberty in Barcelona. Ft Lauderdale debarkation was just a couple of hours
