Was a great cruise. Went on Carnival last March and thought nothing could beat it. Went with Royal Carribean this time and decided without question this is the line for future cruises.
Embarkation

Was in Galveston and was very quick and painless.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Did not buy drink package, but did buy 8 or 10 throughout trip. The main dining room was great. The food was wonderful. We had primerib one night, lobster another, and you could order as many entre's as you liked. New York strip steal was on the menu every night. Our server was wonderful and never missed a trick on how to serve. The Windjammer buffet was great also.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Did not try rock climbing or surfing in the wave pool, but did utilize the pools, hot-tubs and the water tube slides. They were all great and had lifeguards as I needed once on the green slide which was more extreme than I realized.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Saw some really good shows like the ice show, production of Saturday Night Fever, an acrobatic show and also in a few of the bars a guitar player that was fantastic.
Children's Programs
Did not have kids
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone was extremely pleasant and helpful especially our waiter and steward. I lost a new jacket I had just purchased in Cozumel that was still in the bag. Evidently I dropped it somewhere on the ship. Went to Lost and Found and they had it there. I was very impressed.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
We both marvelled at the extreme cleanliness of the ship. The elevator glass and mirrors were spotless. All of the floors were spotless, and I noticed the maintenence crew were constantly doing something like painting and cleaning while the ship was in transit.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The cabin was perfect for us. It is a corner cabin under the bridge with two large portholes. It seemed very spacious and was very comfortable.
Ship tip
Our cabin was about as far forward as you can get and our dining room was way at the back of the ship. We found to go to dinner it was way easier to take the elevator down to the 4th deck, go outside on either side and walk down the deck to the end and then come in to the dining room.
Took a civilian tour around the island. Went to the monkey, sloth and parrot sanctuary was great. Then went to a nice beach for 1 1/2 hours. Was $30 apiece and thru Bodden Tours. Was well worth it.
Went into town by taxi and got to see alot of the town. Right down town they also had many shops and cafes. It was extremely crowded as there were 7 cruis ships in town.
The way the luggage was handled was great. It did take a considerable amount of time physically getting off the boat and standing in line to get our luggage. Probably a couple of hours.
