Cruise was great, even if we did not get off at Cozumel.
But the way we got off ship in Galveston, has me wondering if I ever want to do that again.....
My grand children were abused, in that they were so sweaty and miserable, so were the adults! Much walking here and there, what in the world happened to the good old days...
Wow that actually hurt to think about that Sunday morning!

This was the worst case scenario of all disembarkments ! We were hearded like cattle, no one was in their right groups, we were 11, but saw 30's, 40's etc, it was hot, too many people at one time, what a disappointment, had a grand daughter very distressed, ringing wet for too hot, 4 year old walking too far.. what a horrible out ragious manner of disembarking... never in all my travels has one gotten off totally sweating, bumping into people and being over run.. come on Royal, you have done better!
We did not do walk off this time because of the babies.... but we should have.. as this was really horrible ending for our cruise vacation, like dumping people out on the curb.. the smiling faces, jolly attitudes have disappeared
Assuming what you meant. Our Grandparents grew up without air conditioning. They wore suits and dresses, and that is how it was. A/C spoils us today. I do not want to go back in time, but I so honor and respect our Grandparents for all the hardships they endeared.
