Review summary

Probably the best part of the cruise was the excellent service The food was great, and the waiters were incredibly attentive.  The facilities were much nicer  than some of the other cruises we have been on, and including things like a rock wall and ice skating, which were included in the price.  Overall, I would say it was much nicer than some of the other cruises we have been on coming from Galveston.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I think I gained 5 pounds. It was the best apple pie I have ever had.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We did the rock wall and mini golf several times. The movie by the pool was also fun. My son liked the napkin folding classes.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
I really liked the comedian/ juggler and the dancers.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
This was probably the weakest part. Although my youngest loved it, my older two kids did not want to go at all. They had some organized games, but it was essentially an empty room, compared with the Disney cruise, which had a pirate ship, video games, cooking station, etc.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Liam and Ping were amazing servers!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The main dining area was much classier looking than many cruises. The maps were also very helpful.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
I liked being able to open the door between the two balconies (we had adjoining suites).

Ship tip

Get the junior suite. My brother got rooms which were supposed to sleep 3 but were not suites, and he was unhappy because they were so small.
