Review summary

Royal Caribbean delivered superior customer service as always, with wonderful food and onboard entertainment. We had the good fortune of being upgraded which greatly enhanced our vacation also ( yes it does happen!). Disembarking was a nightmare however due to slow customs. It took in excess of 3 hours to disembark and cost us our shuttle as well as a missed flight.

Upgraded to superior ocean view with balcony cabin # 8238

Ship tip

Don't cruise out of Galveston. Costa Maya is a port where there is not much to see or do if you have not booked an excursion.

Plvjsmith I have a question did you contact your purser when you first arrived on the boat to let them know that you need it off in the first group? We have to catch a 12 o'clock flight and it's going to be very close for us in November we were told to let her purse her know and then we would be off first just kind of curious and I'm a little nervous.
