Review summary

Sailing from Galveston is kinda rough.  It's a long trip from the airport (IAH) and there is very little support  for Transfers through RCCL.  Between transportation and hotels on both ends of the cruise added about $1000 for 6 of us.

Also, our cruise itinerary was changed in order to avoid a tropical storm turned hurricane and, because of the home port location, there was very little in the way of options for alternative ports of call.  For cursing to the Caribbean I will chose the florida ports in the future as storms are frequently a possibility.

Ship tip

Large slides and flowRider have strict hight and weight restrictions. Some kids were very disappointed to find they could not ride. Be sure to check the restrictions and prepare them. The kids slide, however, is better than the large slides...just a bit shorter.
