Review summary

We had great wait and bar-tending good staff, the food was great for the sit down dinning (we had My Time dinning), the food at the buffet was good (something they need to added to at least the desserts is if they contain nuts, wheat, milk etc.) and the entertainment was very good. This ship is going in for a makeover in January 2016 and I hope they make some improvements there is nothing  exceptional about the ship currently. The Johnny Rockets restaurant now cost extra (cruised in 2009 and it was included), was told that the $6.95 covers all items on the menu per visit per person.  Watch out because this is just for the food and soft drinks, the malts will cost you more. No great (specialty dining) like on other boats.  The comedy show was real good and so was the other stage show, but the ice-skating show was real good and worth going.

We ran into some shore excursion problems that were kind of taken care of by the staff once we go back on the boat.  In Roatan the Beach Break ($69, also buy before you get on the ship will help you save a little) states that snorkeling is included when it is NOT, if you want to snorkel for this trip you will need to purchase the $89 trip.  Was told it wasn't worth the $89 price and that you can rent on the beach for $10.  Belize we were going to zip-line and float through caves, but when we got to the meeting place for the excursion we were told it had been canceled do to the heavy rain.  We ended up just doing the zip-line which was kind of fun, but between the torrential down poring of rain and some of the lines being closed it wasn't as much fun as it could have been.  It did help that our tour guide Manuel and bus driver Shane were very knowledgeable and made the hour ride there and back better.     Cozumel we booked the jeep, beach and snorkel excursion and should have just opted for a taxi ride to a beach to send the day.  The "jeep" part of the trip I thought there would be some off-roading, but there is none and the beach time with snorkeling at the fist stop is limited and not much to see for fish and coral.  The next stop was a total tourist trap for food and not much of a beach.  Food and drinks were way over priced and the service wasn't good and the last stop which wasn't on the excursion list was some tequila tasting BS that should have been bypassed.  my advice for Cozumel is get a taxi to take you to a beach that has food and drink and relax and maybe snorkel.  Was also told they have some nice scuba driving around the island.

Overall we had a relaxing trip, but next year we will be going to an all-inclusive.
