Review summary
This was a birthday celebration cruise for my mom's 80th birthday. It was a really good experience for all 16 of us. Four of us had cruised before--the others were first-timers. For the most part we were completely satisfied, but there were a few negatives: First, we were NOT seated together for dinner although we had scheduled this as a group experience. We had people all over the dining room on the first night and ended up at 3 different tables for the remaining nights--not real conducive to celebrating but they did the best they could. The staff said that if we had called and requested to be seated all together a few days before the cruise they could have arranged it, but nowhere did I see that that was required. The only other thing was the excursion. We took the Altan Ha River Wallace cruise in Belize and it was great. BUT...we should have been advised to take serious bug spray with us!!! We were so bitten up by the little blood-letting creatures that even a week after I was still itching! A few of us had more than 50 bites on our legs and it looked AWEFUL! So, be advised, bug spray is a MUST if you're going inland in Belize. Other than that, there were plenty of things to do onboard. We ranged in age from 80 to 11 and everywhere in between. My 19-25 year old children had fun (and stayed up WAY to late!) but they were certainly entertained. We were as well. All in all, I would take another cruise with Royal Caribbean.

Ship tip
Explore the entire ship. There were places I didn't even see and now regret not having gone there--like the ice skating rink and some of the other bars.
