Review summary

Overall the ship was well maintained. It's the largest ship we've been on but there were plenty of cozy spots so it never felt over-crowded.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Liked the Windjammer salad bar. Not as many choices as previous cruises. Shrimp in dining room is pitiful - small and flavorless.

Ports of call

Belize City, Belize

This was a first time in Belize for us. We did the rain forest cave tubing and zip lining excursion - that was a lot of fun. Belize City needs a lot of infrastructure work - it has potential for sure, but it's dirty and run down except for the immediate port area. The excursion was well organized and the staff helpful.

Cozumel, Mexico

We took a taxi to Chankannab (spelling?). We had a fun afternoon snorkeling. The park also offers "swim with dolphins" option and a lot of other family activities.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

We took a taxi to downtown and couldn't believe all the new building, we were there several years ago when it was just a dirt road and a lobster shack on the beach - loved it. We did have a great time relaxing at a beach club all day. There are a lot of people trying to hustle you to pick their area for beach/food, etc.

Pros: Variety of things to do on Liberty

Cons: Lounge chair hogs
