Lovely ship by dmontoya98

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Le Boreal / Destination: Other (Asia/Africa/Middle East)

Ship was lovely, however, onboard activities were lacking. More activities related to the destination was expected, i.e., much more educational programming for those interested. Formal, dressy gala nights (three out of 10 evenings) seemed unnecessary for an “expedition” cruise. Additionally, required to choose a set menu.

Superb overall experience on a modern and tastefully furnished ship by VaCavalier

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Le Boreal / Destination: Transatlantic

A luxury French flagged cruise ship, part of the PONANT fleet of modern ships, with country club casual dress and quite relaxed atmosphere. Very much inclusive, including WiFi, alcohol and wine (including French champagne, gratuities (though I gave extra to my cabin steward and my favorite waiter in addition to a gift to the crew welfare fund, which it gives me pleasure to do on all my cruises).
