Review summary

Ship was lovely, however, onboard activities were lacking. More activities related to the destination was expected, i.e., much more educational programming for those interested. Formal, dressy gala nights (three out of 10 evenings) seemed unnecessary for an “expedition” cruise. Additionally, required to choose a set menu.

Everything was totally clean and well-maintained.

Completely comfortable all-around. Very well-designed. Not huge, but sufficient, comfortable space in room and bathroom. Always very clean with outstanding housekeeping staff.

Ship tip

There was not very much educational information presented related to Antarctica. What was presented was brief; there could have been more lectures given by the very knowledgeable expedition staff. I had hoped to learn more about the continent and it’s wildlife during the cruise
