Don't eat all your meals in the Lido, the selection was boring and the taste of the food wasn't the greatest. We went to the dining room for most meals - great food and great service

As Holland-America caters to an older crowd, expect lots of walkers, wheel chairs and ornery old people, but the crew handles it all very professionally.

Foods not as good as I expected. The LidoCafe had the same thing everyday. Steak weas tough. We quit eating in the dining room because the menu wasn’t to our liking. Ivery little shopping, mostly high end. Sales were poor and had non sale items mixed in

Pack light - re-wear clothes, nobody is going to know - good windbreaker with layers underneath is sufficient and precludes bringing a heavy jacket.
