Review summary

Low key cruising. We enjoy the older folks. A real sense of asking for money for every activity and comfort on the ship.

Food was very good. Dining Room munge has bee significantly reduced in choices

Onboard Activities

Not a very active ship. Most "activities" are sales pitches for spa and bar "experiences. Computer workshops, bingo, time for cards and Mahjong and trivia constitute most of the other offerings. Cruise Director was not engaging or present except for announcing duties. She is the poorest in over 25 cruises over 20 years.

Entertainment

2 Comedians, so-so singer. 3 Dance shows constitute the major stage shows. One would be enough. Stage entertainment is not on a par with other cruise lines.

Children's Programs

We had no kids in our party and there were also very few kids on the ship (a plus)

Service and Staff

Service was uneven in the dining room and in the Lido. Sometimes great, other times not present.

The Ship is beautiful and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

On the Sun Deck. A small cabin with a small Balcony. The closet space is taken up by some mechanicals and drawers are also half depth. Cabin was clean and well-maintained. It was very quiet with no noise in the evenings. Convenient to the lido and spa.
