We found our first time on HAL a great experience. The Kossingsdam was newer ship and well maintained. We liked the food and room and would go again.

Room stewards were best we had encountered on cruise ships. The bar, restaurant staff were very friendly and professional and made the cruise very enjoyable.

Liked the larger shower and modern items in the room, TV, power connects, closets.
Took the Best of Barbados tour we liked seeing the inland areas and especially the old sugar plantation and rum demo. The was the best stop on the cruise would go again.
Did not do a tour. Town was dirty and not worth the short walk around. Vendors on the pier were the best part of stop. Priced in Euros and much higher than other islands.
Did the Panoramic Drive, Mountain Top & Aerial Skyride to Paradise Point tour. Panoramic drive not worth the money. You are crammed too many into benches on flatbed truck. Do not take tour back to ship, so you had to walk from Aerial Skyride. The Aerial sky-ride you can walk to your self from the ship. Nice views and lunch on top of the harbor.
Fair, seemed not very organized by port staff. Giving confusing directions and a long wait to remove your luggage to go through customs. The bags were there went we dismebarked but had to wait port staff to give permission.
