I did a video review of the cruise.

Overall beautiful ship. But for sure it seems "more crowded" than other HAL ships.
Embarkation
1 out of 5
We were stuck in a line that did not move and there were only two counter people. It was a joke. Took us over an hour just to check in.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Very good as usual for HAL. Pinnacle and Tamarind were excellent. The main dining room was very crowded.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Poor for this trip. Only a few cooking classes. Not many talks. NOTHING that had anything to do with the Caribbean other than some EXC talks. (which those were good)
Entertainment
2 out of 5
Rating a poor because the entertainment was so crowded it was hard to attend the shows. You had to get to the main theater 45 minutes early to get a seat. Very similar for the Rolling Stones, Billboard, etc. The entertainment in the main stage was OK but we did not go every night because we could not get a seat.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Service was good but not quite as personalized as other HAL ships. But still better than most other lines.
Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We LOVED our cabin. Very roomy. Front of the ship. Here is a video walk through.

We took the bus to Palm Beach. Excellent day. The bus is cheap, easy, clean and safe. $2.60 each way. The bus station is across the street from the port. You want bus 15, the first bay, that takes you past all of the beaches. There are stops all along the road to return to the ship.
Thanks for the info. We are going on this ship to the same places in March. I can’t wait. We always sail HAL, I wanted to try one of the newer ships. Did you eat in any of the private dining rooms?
