Review summary

Ports were fabulous. Ship was not well-designed, rooms seem smaller than they are, even higher priced higher up rooms. Food was mediocre. Service was good though sometimes inconsistent.

dinner menus were wrong more than once listing things that were incorrect. Food was mediocre. Buffets were logjams of people who wanted to serve themselves but could not so buffet service was slow. Desserts were uncreative.

I thought the ship design was awkward in places. Deck 10 was like a maze getting from the rooms forward to the stern. The midship couches blocked the throughway. Deck 3 only had one side open through the Casino rather than both sides so there are constant bottlenecks. Loved the full circumference promenade.

Cabin / Stateroom

bathroom door across from the closet and opening right in front of the cabin door was very awkward. Nice shower size though. balcony was smaller than cheaper rooms on deck 5. storage was in awkward places that didn't make sense. room seemed small compared to other cruise lines similar class rooms. room was very clean and well kept the entire cruise

Ship tip

it's not worth paying more for a verandah spa room. get a balcony room on deck 5 and enjoy the larger balcony, same sized shower. Don't need the yoga mats and vitamin water.
