I also agree but they have to keep finding new ways to make money I guess. I am glad to hear that about HAL, heading out on Koningsdam in a week. I also think that NCL food was so good that you don't need any upcharge restaurants either.

I agree. Unfortunately all cruise lines have gone to the upcharge policy on specialty restaurants, but the good thing about HAL is that the food in the dining room is exceptional with NO upcharges so you don’t have to eat in specialty restaurants if you don’t want to pay the upcharge. Having said that, I think the Tamarind is worth the upcharge. But I don’t think the others are. 🍸
