I've cruised 13 times and this was the best ship, best food, best cabin and absolutely the best itinary. My cabin was on the 5th floor and I never felt any movement nor heard any noise.

Only ate in the dining room once. Prime rib dinner was excellent. Lido was excellent as usual and the best hambergers were made by the Lido Pool.

As expected, Holland America excels in service. However, the only thing that really bugs me is the "hard sell" when you board the ship.

Ship tip
Book a cruise on the Konigsdam. The music theme is wonderful. For some reason, this ship is much easier to get around. Maybe because it doesn't have the outside elevator.
Did two excursions. Took a ride around the island in the morning and went to see native dancers on the beach at night. Both were very interesting and worth the price.
Brand new port. Very nice. Went to the aquarium to swim with the dolphins. Excursion was a little too long as there wasn't much to do there as they wouldn't let us sit on their beach for some reason.
Took the Segway excursion again. Loved it. Felt bad because the island took a hit by the 2 hurricanes. Carnival did a great job opening the port quickly.
