Review summary

#1. Make sure you bring reading material - no library. #2. Bring a sweater ladies/gentlemen the World Stage room is frigid for watching shows. #3. Food was wonderful as usual on HAL (at least for me); nice presentation and other options (for a fee). Pinnacle Grill and Tamerind were my two choices. #4 BEST was the Lincoln Center Stage - 5 female musicians auditioned by Lincoln Center (1 cello 2 violin, 1 viola, 1 pianist) were wonderful performers and the musical selections varied each night. #5. Itinerary was good, but I had been to Aruba and Curacao several times BUT Bonaire was a good choice to visit.

Could be coordinated a bit better. Times varied daily for the same Team Trivia.

Entertainment

Varied, but the last comedian recycled old material. Production shows were 2 out of 3 teriffic for me.

Room stewards were a delight and very good at their job. Restaurant servers were exceptional.

Cabin / Stateroom

Even though I knew the life boat would be viewable, the boat was low enough to get a great view and could sit out on very comfortable chairs.

Ship tip

Don't over pack. Casual 8 of 10 nights. Anytime dining seemed to work ok. I had fixed dinner at Table 51 at 8:15pm.

Grand Turk Island Did not visit port

Just got off the ship to stretch my legs and see what upgrades were made since the island had a hurricane. Had visited once before.

Kralendijk, Bonaire

5 out of 5

Did go ashore and took a 3 1/2 hour tour. Very interesting and a great place for snorkeling and scuba enthusiasts.
