Embarkation

Over all the cruise was good.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was above arrange, 99% of the food were very salty. Hopefully the chefs will reduce sodium in the future for those who can't hand salty food, for those who like salty food they always add more salt. Once salty food is made, it's impossible reduce the sodium. Please make this suggestion into your serious consideration.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Some good activities but not as good as our last Alaska Ovation of the Seas cruise

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows were awesome! Live music performances were great, DJ's were good. The only risk Royal Caribbean takes is allow toddlers, children and kids on the Centrum while the adults were drinking and dancing. If the adults step on the toddler's arms or legs or fall on the children, I think Royal Caribbean will in a major lawsuit. Entertainment director needs to took into this issues to prevent future incidents shall it happens.

Children's Programs

Had no children with me

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The Tides restaurant service was wonderful. Our room stewards were very slow getting our cabin made and cleaned.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Jewels of the Seas is a very old ship, outdated design, the cleanliness were decent. The worst design were the Customer Service Center is right next to the Centrum on the 4th floor. It is impossible to communicate with the Customer Service staff. It's definitely ridiculous design. Hopefully the person in charge of the ship will put a clear wall around the Customer Service section.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Overall, the cabin was comfortable, decent size and cleanliness.

Ship tip

The worst design were the Customer Service Center is right next to the Centrum on the 4th floor. It is impossible to communicate with the Customer Service staff. It's definitely ridiculous design. Hopefully the “person in charge” of the ship will put a clear wall around the Customer Service section.

Ports of call

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Great location. Easy to access to.

Olden, Norway

5 out of 5
Olden is my favorite port. The excursion was pricey but it was fun.

Flaam, Norway

5 out of 5
Flaam is also my favorite port. Love my excursion.

Geiranger, Norway

This is the worst port out of all. We did not take the excursion because we did not want to deal with the tender situation. Part of my family members and went the the feedback from them were "terrible" port and terrible excursion experience.

Alesund, Norway

4 out of 5
We also like this port. Excursion was great... Just overpriced.

Molde, Norway

This port location is terrible. Mixed with cargo ships, docking containers, not a good sight. The excursion was absolutely disaster. An hour bus ride to see the bridge for 15 mins, let alone, using the restroom takes 5 mins already. An hour bus ride to see the anchor for another 15 mins, an hour bus ride back in town. By the time we got back in town, everyone was exhausted. The bus ride went around town, up and down the hills, made some of us motion sickness. We were about to throw up in the bus. Horrible, horrible experience.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Disembarkation was well organized made it easy for all of us.
